The first ever filmed walk to the legendary High Street ( Racecourse Hill ) starts at the car park at the head of Mardale and goes by Small Water up to the Nan Bield Pass, over Mardale Ill Bell to the High Street Trig point. Descent is made by Rough Crag & past Blea Water.
